Happy Birthday Little Bird

 

Little Bird is 2 years old this month, yay! And as all two year olds think what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours but the rest is for sharing!!! I’m pretty sure this was Jools’ Oliver’s inspiration when she designed her latest collection. There are very girly bits, very boyish bits but a whole lot of clothes that are for sharing!!! And you know I love me some unisex!!!!!!

Still keeping with the Little Birds retro feel all the way up to 8 years old, yes you read right mama now your little people not just babies can sport some amazing 70’s inspired gear. There are some really strong must have pieces that will take any kids wardrobe from cool to uber cool!

I am mean just look at that, need I say more!?!?!… No, but I will anyway… Layer a floral peter-pan collared blouse under a pinafore with a cardigan on top, finish with tights, knee high socks and boots. For you gent’s… A plaid shirt under a T-shirt with jeans and willies and boom you’re done! Layer it all, more is more especially as it gets a bit nippy outside! The possibilities are endless and you can totally make it your own.

Happy Happy Little Bird

I’m H.A.P.P.Y, I’m H.A.P.P.Y and its all thanks to Little Bird by Jools Oliver for Mothercare. They are having a party and we are too!

This years Spring Summer collection is 70’s chic in all the best kind of ways. Retro has never been cooler, more mod and must have!

 

The collection is more or less unisex, which as you know I am obsessed with.

I can’t say this brings me back as I am an 80’s baby but I totally love the authenticity. This collection is totally inspired by happy and what’s more happy than a rainbow? So why not throw it on everything! There you go, instant happiness, I love it!!!!!

 

Oh and how can I forget the shoes, the desert boots and T-bars (which baby N now owns a pair of each, as you know a girl can never have too many shoes) are ridiculously fabulous!!!!

As you can see there is something for everyone, boy or girl, from teeny to tot and  I just cant seem to stop raving about this collection so before I use every adjective under the rainbow at just how amazingly, incredibly, on trend, and uber cool everything is, I will love and leave you.

Today the weather is cold, raining and miserable but on the bright side it does give me a rather good excuse to get out a bit of shearling and join this London weather with a touch of English heritage!!!!!
