Sadly to say I think we headed for the dreaded autumn but on the bright side it does mean brand new clothes and the very best part is, well I personally think the autumnal colours look much better on me!!! So yay!!!!

Eeeeeek I am so beyond excited, that I just have to share my new found treasures and all that from a trip down to my local TK Maxx , who would have thought!!!!!!
Let me talk you through the history behind my excitement …. A large framed picture of myself at my first birthday party covered in chocolate cake and dressed in bright obnoxious pink dungarees sits on my parents dresser. The bright little number I was in were a pair of OshKosh B’gosh.
When baby N was born I searched for a pair OKB in London (where I live) and South Africa (where I’m from) and absolutely no luck. At the back of my mind I always wanted to almost replicate that picture. Heaven knows why as I don’t do mommy and me normally but hey!
And then today there they were!!!! I actually had to hold myself back, so I got 2 pairs, cause a girl needs a casual and a more formal pair of dungarees of course!!!

Little Bird is 2 years old this month, yay! And as all two year olds think what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is yours but the rest is for sharing!!! I’m pretty sure this was Jools’ Oliver’s inspiration when she designed her latest collection. There are very girly bits, very boyish bits but a whole lot of clothes that are for sharing!!! And you know I love me some unisex!!!!!!
Still keeping with the Little Birds retro feel all the way up to 8 years old, yes you read right mama now your little people not just babies can sport some amazing 70’s inspired gear. There are some really strong must have pieces that will take any kids wardrobe from cool to uber cool!
I am mean just look at that, need I say more!?!?!… No, but I will anyway… Layer a floral peter-pan collared blouse under a pinafore with a cardigan on top, finish with tights, knee high socks and boots. For you gent’s… A plaid shirt under a T-shirt with jeans and willies and boom you’re done! Layer it all, more is more especially as it gets a bit nippy outside! The possibilities are endless and you can totally make it your own.
